Temporary Inspections/Licensing
The purpose of this program is to protect public health by enforcing
federal, state, and local regulations relating to the operation of
temporary food service establishments.
Temporary food service operations are required to complete a
Temporary Food Service Application at least 30 days prior to the
date of intended operation.
The
Temporary Food Establishment Operations Checklist Michigan Food Law
of 2000, as amended, is also available online.
Once an application has been completed, it must be returned to the
Calhoun County Public Health Department for approval. Unless prior
permission has been granted, all applications must be submitted in
person.
An inspection will be conducted at the temporary food service
location during operation.
