Calhoun County Remonumentation Committee
August 22, 2007

Chairman Bob Carr called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Members present: Bob Carr, David Lohr, Bill Crane, Mike Groat, Brian Reynolds and Fred Cutcher.

Also present: Jennifer Bomba, County Planning Director.

Minutes
Motion by David Lohr to approve the minutes of the July 18, 2007, Peer Group meeting as corrected. Support by Bill Crane. Motion carried.

Old Business

  1. Bill Crane presented a previously tabled corner for approval.

    Leroy Township: C-4
    Motion by Brian Reynolds to approve the corner as presented. Support by Mike Groat. Motion carried.

Corner Approval

  1. David Lohr presented corners for approval.

    Clarence Township: C-8, B-8
    Motion made by Brian Reynolds to approve the corners as presented. Support by Mike Groat. Motion carried.

Lee Township: K-13, K-12, K-11, J-11, I-11, I-12, I-13, J-13, J-12
Motion made by Fred Cutcher to table Lee Township corners J-11, I-11, I-12, and J-12 and approve the remaining corners as presented. Support by Bill Crane. Motion carried.

  1. Brian Reynolds presented corners for approval.

    Bedford Township: F-7, G-7, J-6, J-9, I-6, L-6
    Motion made by David Lohr to approve the corners as presented. Support by Bill Crane. Motion carried.

Pennfield Township: B-6, B-7, C-6, C-7, D-6, D-7, E-6, E-7, F-6, F-7, G-6, G-7 Motion made by Bill Crane to approve the corners as presented. Support by Mike Groat. Motion carried.

  1. Mike Groat presented corners for approval.

    Marshall Township: K-7
    Motion by Bill Crane to approve the corner as presented. Support by Brian Reynolds. Motion carried.

Athens Township: H-6, L-8 (both previously tabled), and L-9
Motion made by Bill Crane to approve the corners as presented. Support by Brian Reynolds. Motion carried.

Marshall Township: L-6
Motion by Brian Reynolds to approve the corner as presented. Support by David Lohr. Motion carried.

  1. Bill Crane presented corners for approval.

    Newton Township: K-2, K-3
    Motion made by Fred Cutcher to approve the corners as presented. Support by David Lohr. Motion carried.

Position of Chair turned over to Bill Crane.

  1. Bob Carr presented corners for approval.

    Emmett Township: H-9, I-9, J-9, I-8, MC-11, MC-12, H-8, J-2, L-2
    Motion made by Brian Reynolds to approve the corners as presented. Support by Mike Groat. Motion carried.
