Calhoun County Remonumentation Committee
February 27, 2008
Chairman Bob Carr called the meeting to order at 9:15 a.m.
Members present: Bob Carr, Bill Crane, Mike Groat, and Fred Cutcher.
Also present: Jennifer Bomba, County Planning Director.
New Business
- Bob presented a packet of information regarding the 2008 program,
including township maps detailing the 2008 corners to be monumented.
In addition corner assignments were handed out. Jennifer will draft
work orders for signature at the next meeting.
- Bob presented an invite from the Calhoun County Road Commission
for traffic regulator training.
- Jen noted that the 2008 grant application has not been approved as
of this date. When an approval and contract is received from the State
we will exercise the one-year extensions for the surveyor agreements.
- It was determined that no action was taken to appoint a county
representative for the 2008 program.
Motion made by Mike Groat to appoint Bob Carr as the County
Representative for the 2008 program. Support by Bill Crane. Motion
carried.
- Jen reminded surveyors to send her current insurance certificates
to be included with the contracts.
- Bob noted that he will take an inventory of supplies and determine
what needs to be ordered.
